Dialup Instructions - Select
Your Operating System
- Click on START, then click on CONTROL PANEL
- Click on NETWORK AND INTERNET
- Click on NETWORK AND SHARING CENTER
- Click on SET UP A CONNECTION OR NETWORK
- Click on SET UP A DIAL-UP CONNECTION, then click on NEXT
- If you have more than one modem installed, select which
modem you want to use from the list, then click on NEXT
- Enter the entire telephone number above for the DIAL-UP
PHONE NUMBER
- Enter your username on the USER NAME line
- Enter your password on the PASSWORD line
- Enter the phrase “eNet” for the CONNECTION NAME
- Make sure that you phone line is properly connected to
your computer, then click on CONNECT
- Once successfully connected, click on BROWSE THE
INTERNET NOW
To connect in the future, click on
START, CONNECT TO, eNet, then CONNECT
- Click on START, then click on CONTROL PANEL
- Click on NETWORK AND INTERNET CONNECTIONS (if you do not
see this option, double-click on NETWORK CONNECTIONS and
then skip to Step 4)
- Click on NETWORK CONNECTIONS
- Click on CREATE A NEW CONNECTION
- After the New Connection Wizard appears, click on NEXT
- Click the button next to CONNECT TO THE INTERNET, then
click on NEXT
- Click the button next to SET UP MY CONNECTION MANUALLY,
then click on NEXT
- Click the button next to CONNECT USING A DIAL-UP MODEM,
then click on NEXT
- If you have more than one modem installed, select which
modem you want to use from the list, then click on NEXT
- Enter the phrase “eNet” for the ISP NAME, then click on
NEXT
- Leaving the area code field blank, enter the entire
telephone number above for the PHONE NUMBER, then click on
NEXT
- Enter your username on the USER NAME line
- Enter your password on the PASSWORD line
- Re-enter your password on the CONFIRM PASSWORD line
- Make sure there is a check in the box next to USE THIS
ACCOUNT NAME AND PASSWORD WHEN ANYONE CONNECTS TO THE
INTERNET FROM THIS COMPUTER
- Make sure there is a check in the box next to MAKE THIS
THE DEFAULT INTERNET CONNECTION, then click on NEXT
- Make sure there is a check in the box next to ADD A
SHORTCUT TO THIS CONNECTION TO MY DESKTOP, then click on
FINISH
- Close all windows to return to the Desktop
- Double-click on MY COMPUTER
- Double-click on CONTROL PANEL
- Double-click on DIAL-UP NETWORKING
- Double-click on MAKE NEW CONNECTION
- Erase the phrase “MY CONNECTION” and replace with the
phrase “eNet”, then click on NEXT
- Leaving AREA CODE field blank, enter the entire
telephone number above for the TELEPHONE NUMBER, then click
on NEXT
- Click on FINISH
- Right-click on the eNet icon, then click on PROPERTIES
- Remove the check from USE AREA CODE AND DIALING
PROPERTIES, then click on OK
- Right-click on the eNet icon, then click on CREATE
SHORTCUT, then click on YES
- Close the DIAL-UP NETWORKING window to return to the
Desktop
- Double-click on MY COMPUTER
- Double-click on DIAL-UP NETWORKING
- Double-click on MAKE NEW CONNECTION
- Erase the phrase “MY CONNECTION” and replace with the
phrase “eNet”, then click on NEXT
- Leaving AREA CODE field blank, enter the entire
telephone number above for the TELEPHONE NUMBER, then click
on NEXT
- Click on FINISH
- Right-click on the eNet icon, then click on PROPERTIES
- Remove the check from USE AREA CODE AND DIALING
PROPERTIES
- Click on the SERVER TYPES tab
- Remove the check from LOG ON TO NETWORK
- Remove the check from NETBEUI
- Remove the check from IPX/SPX, then click on OK
- Right-click on the eNet icon, then click on CREATE
SHORTCUT, then click on YES
- Close the DIAL-UP NETWORKING window to return to the
Desktop

Email Configuration
Instructions - Select Your Operating System
- Click on START, then click on WINDOWS MAIL
- If any error windows appear, close them
- Click on TOOLS
- Click on ACCOUNTS
- Click on ADD
- Click on E-MAIL ACCOUNT, then click on NEXT
- Type your full name, then click on NEXT
- Type your Koyote e-mail address, then click on NEXT
- On the middle line (which is the first long line), type
MAIL.MYENET.COM
- On the bottom line, type MAIL.MYENET.COM
- Put a check in the box that says OUTGOING SERVER
REQUIRES AUTHENTICATION
- Click on NEXT
- Confirm that the ACCOUNT NAME is correct – the entire
email address is required
- Enter your password on the PASSWORD line
- Click on NEXT
- Click on FINISH
- Click on CLOSE
- Close WINDOWS MAIL to return to the Desktop
- Double-click on the OUTLOOK EXPRESS icon
- If any error windows appear, close them
- Click on TOOLS
- Click on ACCOUNTS
- If the MAIL tab is not already selected, click on the
MAIL tab
- Click on ADD, then click on MAIL
- Type your full name, then click on NEXT
- Type your Koyote e-mail address, then click on NEXT
- On the middle line (which is the first long line), type
MAIL.MYENET.COM
- On the bottom line, type MAIL.MYENET.COM
- Click on NEXT
- Confirm that the ACCOUNT NAME is correct – the entire
email address is required
- Enter your password on the PASSWORD line
- Click on NEXT
